A couple of book-related event updates.
First, for those in San Diego or thereabouts, this Saturday, January 13, I’ll be speaking at the Dharma Bum Temple at 11:00 a.m. Here’s an event page with all the details. Unfortunately, I won’t have any copies of the book, but you can still get it for a decent price direct from the press. And, if you’re able to come, you can check out the “Buddha For You” store and support this sangha!
I believe the even will also be live-streamed via YouTube. Check out the temple’s website for more info.
Second, the annual National Council Meeting of the Buddhist Churches of America is resuming (at least this year) in-person at the Buddhist Church of Sacramento in February. IBS will be hosting a symposium which, this year, is really just me talking about the book with Rev. Dr. Takashi Miyaji. The event will take place on Saturday February 24 at 3:00 p.m. both in-person and streamed live via Zoom. Keep an eye on the IBS website for details about how to access the Zoom feed if you’re unable to make it to Sacramento.
